Ned G. Hanover, LCSW

Psychotherapy From the Comfort of Home

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My specialties include LGBTQIA+, ADHD, autism, men’s issues, chronic illness, mental health issues, parenting, school-related issues, and youth who have committed a sex offense. I accept original Medicare (Part B) and Railroad Medicare (Part B). I also participate in the Intensive In-Community Program (PerformCare) for New Jersey children and youth.  You may also choose to self-pay, and receipts will be provided for out-of-network reimbursement or for tax purposes.

What I do

Individual Psychotherapy

I am here to provide you with personalized support and guidance to enhance your mental health and well-being. Together, we will create a safe and nurturing environment where you can effectively manage your thoughts and feelings. Additionally, we can explore strategies to express yourself to loved ones and others who may provide the support you need. My services are available via telehealth for individuals aged 10-80+.

Professional Consultation

Are you a clinician facing challenges in keeping up with and understanding current federal, in-state and out-of-state regulations? Maybe you are concerned about how artificial intelligence (AI) will impact your practice. Are you uncertain about conducting a telehealth session when your client is out-of-state? Do you have concerns about Medicare or Medicaid regulations that impact your practice? Or are you unsure about the value and process of obtaining an out-of-state license? Read on for insights and guidance on these topics.

Clinical Supervision

The clinical supervision approaches I employ include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral-informed therapy (DBT informed), harm reduction, and a functional approach. For individuals seeking LCSW or LPC licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as LCSW licensure in Delaware, a comprehensive exploration of these theoretical frameworks can be highly beneficial. By deepening your understanding and skills in these areas, you can effectively assist clients in overcoming various mental health obstacles while progressing toward your LCSW or LPC license.
